How to Find a Bible Study Group
Introduction
Having quiet and alone times as a believer to study the Bible, pray, and meditate is crucial to growing spiritually. However, it is not good for you, as a believer, to be constantly isolated.
Sometimes, being alone as a believer makes you vulnerable to the enemy’s attack and temptation, stunts your spiritual growth, and stops you from enjoying some benefits of fellowshipping together with brethren. That is why the Bible encourages us to always spend time with other believers to stir up faith, love, and good works, encourage one another, and carry each other’s burdens (Hebrews 10:24-25, Galatians 6:2).
One way the church is promoting togetherness and spiritual growth is through Bible study groups, where believers come together to dissect scriptures, ask questions, and provide insight into God’s Word. However, one challenge we face today is finding Bible study groups.
The good news is that there are various ways to locate Bible study groups around them. We are glad to share some of them to help you join other believers to learn and grow.

How do I find a Bible study group?
We often limit or underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit and His willingness to help us in every area of our struggles. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit, whom God will send, will teach us all things (John 14:26).
All things include simple things like what to wear, where to apply for jobs and where to find a Bible study group that will make you a better Christian.
God is keenly interested in your spiritual growth. He wants to grow in wisdom and stature as our Lord Jesus Christ. He wants you to graduate from taking milk to eating strong meat. Therefore, He is willing to provide you with all the help you need to grow.
Isaiah 30:21 says you will hear a voice telling you, “This is the way you should go.” The Holy Spirit is speaking to you every day. Take away all distractions from your heart, causing noise so His voice will be amplified. Ask Him for help intentionally, and be willing to listen and ready to obey.

If you are a believer who cannot join a physical Bible study group due to health challenges, the nature of your job or other factors, this is for you. Technology has advanced every area of life, including the church and how the Gospel is preached.
Many churches are now fully online. That means you can watch and participate in Sunday services and other programs no matter where you are with your smartphone or PC. For example, New Beginning has active YouTube and Facebook accounts, where you can connect to programs live in church.
If, for any reason, your local church does not have an online Bible group, you can join and stream, search the internet, and you will have many options to choose from. Join communities and participate in social media forums that discuss the Bible.
God’s Word is powerful irrespective of the channel or method through which we access it. Therefore, online Bible study groups are as helpful as physical ones.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15)
